John has taken an active, leadership interest in both professional and community organizations for the past 30 years. He has served as a Member of the Board of Governors of the California Community College System and as a past Chairman of the California State Chamber of Commerce and a former member of the U.S. Chamber Board of Directors.

He is a past member of the California Travel & Tourism Commission. John is the Founding Chairman of the Lassen National Park Foundation, President of the California Parks Hospitality Association, and a Member of the California State Roundtable on Parks, Recreation and Tourism. He is also a past member of the Board of Directors of the California Lodging Industries Association. John has previously served as Chairman of the Board for both Tehama and Humboldt Banks and is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Fibreboard Corporation.

John has been the recipient of many statewide and local community honors and was the winner of the Norman P. Clark California Tourism Entrepreneur of the Year Award for 2001. He was inducted into the California Tourism Hall of Fame in 1999. John frequently speaks on topics such as tourism, California business and personal development on a statewide basis. John has also written a book entitled “Green-Lighting Your Future” available on Amazon. Most recently, John was inducted into the “California Outdoors Hall of Fame” in 2014.

Mrs. Pitts is a co-founder and past President of the Tehama County Education Foundation and has served as a member of many community organizations for the past thirty five years. She has been honored as Businesswoman of the Year for Assembly District #1, Businessperson of the Year for Tehama County, and recognized for outstanding volunteer work by the Tehama County Department of Education. She has been a member of the Lassen Park Foundation since 1981 and is currently Secretary of the National Parks Hospitality Association, a national industry group working to improve visitor services throughout our National Parks. Mrs. Pitts holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California, San Francisco, receiving certification as Registered Nurse and Public Health Nurse. She resides in Lafayette, California.

…permits.Mr. Pike is the former Chairman of the Convention and Visitors Bureau and is the past President of the Red Bluff-Tehama County Chamber of Commerce, serving through June of 1999. He is the past President of the Board of Directors of the Shasta Cascade Wonderland Association, the regional destination marketing organization for 8 northern California counties. He is a former member of the Board of Directors of the California Travel Industry Association (CALTIA) and currently sits on the Executive Committee of the California Roundtable for Recreation, Parks and Tourism. He has served on the Board of Directors of the National Forest Recreation Association. Mr. Pike leads the implementation of new projects in a start-up capacity most recently at Lake Hemet for the Lake Hemet Municipal Water District and Diamond Valley Marina for the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California in Hemet, California. He also heads the UPC Gate Services project for the company including the installation of automated fee equipment for Santa Clara County Parks and in Death Valley National Park. Lastly, Mr. Pike is the project manager for the statewide implementation of the vessel tracking and inspections program under the Quagga Inspection Services, LLC flag and is the lead for expansion of our proprietary software program QIDTM, a leading tool for managing the response to protecting our waterways from the threat posed by aquatic nuisance species (quagga and zebra mussels). Mr. Pike assists the President in the implementation of all plans, procedures and practices with other operations of The California Parks Company including integration of personnel policies, establishment of green policies and health and safety programs. Mr. Pike is a Certified Senior Director in the YMCA and held executive positions for 12 years prior to joining The California Parks Company. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from San José State University.

In addition, Bayer is responsible for leadership of the human resources strategy and functions for the company, specifically in the areas of hiring and succession planning, professional training and development, organizational and performance management, benefits and compensation, and legal compliance. He is also responsible for directing and overseeing the company’s Information Technology strategic plans, policies, programs, and resources. Bayer spent over a decade with Aramark and was most recently the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis for ARAMARK Parks and Destinations where he was responsible for all financial and capital planning, analysis, and reporting functions for the company’s portfolio of hotels and resorts, conference centers, marinas, tour operations, retail stores, and other attractions. As Corporate Finance Director for Aramark Sports & Entertainment, he led the financial functions for the portfolio of food service and retail operations of 150+ stadiums, arenas, amphitheaters, and convention centers. As Regional Finance Director, he led ARAMARK’s finance and accounting efforts at high-profile events such as the 2004 NFL Super Bowl, 2004 MLB All Star Game, 2004 NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four, 2005 MLB World Series, 2005 NBA All Star Game, 2005 NBA Finals, and the 2005 Hurricane Katrina Relief Efforts at Reliant Park in Houston. Prior to joining ARAMARK, Bayer held financial leadership roles with Kmart. He also gained experience in the hospitality industry through several operational roles with progressively increased responsibility for Marriott and its largest franchisor Interstate Hotels. Bayer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Travel Administration from the University of Massachusetts and a Masters of Business Administration from Indiana University.
<strong>Kris Koeberer</strong>

Mr. Kris Koeberer, Vice President for Operations, has been with the company since 1995. During this time, he has successfully managed numerous facilities including Lake Chabot Reservoir in Castro Valley and Angel Island State Park in San Francisco Bay.
Mr.Koeberer was responsible for all aspects of those facilities including catering, ordering, staffing, tours and logistical support. He is currently supervising eight operations in Northern California including all concession operations in Lassen Volcanic National Park and USDA Forest Ser¬vice recreation operations for the Shasta Trinity National Recreation Area at Shasta, Lewiston and Trinity Lakes where he has gained a reputation for cooperation and professionalism with the company’s agency partners. Mr.Koeberer is also Operations Vice President for UPC operations at Lake Camanche (East Bay Municipal Utility District) Big Basin State Park (California State Parks), and Lake Chabot (East Bay Regional Park District). Kris was formerly with ARAMARK Corporation where he applied his human resources experience and food service experience at pro-sports stadiums, major urban convention centers and fine dining facilities, often ordering food and supplies for groups of people ranging in size from 100 to 100,000.Kris holds a Bachelor of Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in International Rela¬tions and has completed training in Financial Analysis at the Center for Executive Development at the University of California, Berkeley.

He joined The California Parks Company in 2012 as the Director of Safety & Training. In 2013 he was promoted to the Regional Vice President for the Northern Operations and oversees the operations within Lassen Volcanic National Park, Shata Trinity National Forest and Oregon State Parks. He also provides additional bench strengths for operations, special projects and marina consultation. Additionally, he he is a Senior VP for Business Development and advises on potential acquisitions.

Michael was formerly Chief Operations Officer of Water Resorts Inc. overseeing resorts on California waterways from Shasta to the Delta. He also is a board member of the Shasta Cascade Wonderland Association and the co-founder and past-president of the Shasta Lake Business Owners Association.

Mr.Colvin Joined the California Parks Company in March of 2013 and has over 35 years of experience in the marina and recreation industry.

Prior to joining The California Parks Company, Mr.Colvin worked for Forever Resorts overseeing up to 13 operations as a Regional Vice President. Mr.Col­vin has been responsible for resort operations in California, Nevada and Ari­zona. These operations were located in National Parks, Bureau of Reclamation lands, USDA Forest Service lands, California State Park lands, and by the City and County of San Francisco. The California marinas he oversaw were the first to achieve California Clean Marina ratings and special membership recogni­tion from the U.S.EPA National Environmental Performance Track for demonstrating environmental excellence.

Tim is a Certified Marina Manager #131, a Haz Mat Incident Commander, and First Responder. He holds many other certifications including Level 1 Structural Fire Fighting (NFPA 1001), Certified Open Water Diver, by the National Association of Underwater Instructors, level one and level two Zebra/Quagga Mussel Inspector and Train­ing Instructor and is a certified Boating Safety Instructor by the National Safe Boating Council. Mr.Colvin is a past Vice President of the Marina Recreation Association as well as a past board member of the Shasta Cascade Wonder­land Association.

…The California Parks Company. Ms. Del Dotto has primary day-to-day responsibility for all accounting related activities of the company. She has spent 15 years in the renewable energy industry and was most recently the Western Region Finance and Analysis Manager for Wheelabrator Technologies, a Waste Management Company (WM).

As the Regional F&A Manager, she was responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of WM’s power plants located on the west coast. In addition, Ms. Del Dotto was responsible for all regulatory reporting, budgeting, forecasting and capital planning for her region.

Prior to joining WM, Ms. Del Dotto was the Business Manager for Covanta Energy’s 6 California Biomass plants. Ms. Del Dotto has had many outside affiliations during her tenure in the energy industry. She was the Company Representative at the California Energy Commission (CEC) and the California Biomass Energy Alliance (CBEA) for 15 and 10 years, respectively. She was Treasurer for the CBEA and an Industry Representative for the Annual Biomass Day at the State Capitol for 4 years. Ms. Del Dotto started her career at DH Scott & Company, where she worked in the Tax and Audit departments. Ms. Del Dotto holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University, Chico.

…industry mastering various roles including Fuel procurement, Internal Auditing, Human Resources, Office and Operations Management. In her most recent role, Rhonda was the Compliance Coordinator in the mining and asphalt paving industry for Jaxon Enterprises.

As the Compliance Coordinator, Mrs. Nunnelley coordinated with site management teams to facilitate site specific safety initiatives and compliance with new laws concerning Hazardous Materials Business Plans, Emergency Action Plans, Spill Prevention Control & Countermeasures, Injury & Illness Prevention Programs, Hearing Conservation, and Financial Assurance Cost Estimates.

She was also the lead contact for the following agencies Environmental Health, USDA Radiation Safety Division, Air Quality Control, and the Board of Reclamation. Mrs. Nunnelley was on the Board of Directors for the North State Society for Human Resource Managers for four years and has been instrumental in several community service organizations (Boosters President, Athletic Ambition Co-founder, and Sober Grad Vice President).

Mrs. Nunnelley comes to us with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management with a minor in Human Resources, and a Professional Human Resource accreditation. Rhonda has two wonderful children. Her daughter currently attends Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, majoring in Criminal Psychology and is on the women’s basketball team. Rhonda and her husband are avid fans and never miss a game. Her son is a Private First Class in the Army, stationed in South Korea and has the family’s unwavering support. Rhonda loves camping in the great outdoors and traveling to new places with her family.

Serving in the dual role of Director of Social Media and Online Reputation Management, as well as the Regional Marketing Coordinator for the company’s San Francisco Bay area, Ms. Potts has day to day responsibilities for the development and execution of strategic social media and digital initiatives, monitoring and analysis of social media trends and their impact on the company brand, and tracking and driving the company’s online reputation.

Ms. Potts began her career with The California Parks Company leading over 200 events annually at its premier special events facility, Castle Rock Park in Walnut Creek, CA. Promoted to the corporate headquarters, Ms. Potts led the Reservations Sales Department building the client database to over 13K, developing the marketing plan, leading onsite customer presentations, writing proposals, and negotiating customer event agreements. Helping to build the mobile catering division and grow the on and off site catering and special events business to over 600 functions per year, Ms. Potts continued to progress in the company. Ms. Potts was promoted to Director of Sales & Marketing where she created and executed the strategic marketing and communications plan.

Leading a team of digital media experts, web developers, graphic designers, and location based sales and marketing professionals, Ms. Potts is known for her integrated marketing and brand building initiatives utilizing digital, print, broadcast, and direct mail. She drives consumer satisfaction by analyzing customer desires and needs while actively managing the online reputation of the company’s diverse operations.

Ms. Tan-Casem’s background in hospitality is as unique and diverse as her talents. She started as a project manager and launched a historic gallery featuring the “Forbidden City” of San Francisco and the Fillmore Jazz story in partnership with SF Public Library. At the age of 23, she earned her first Director of Marketing position and made an appearance in a short film “Making a Better Market Street in SF” and a full segment at KRON 4’s Best of the Bay. Her vision and strong commitment to San Francisco has achieved a close partnership with the City and community agencies in beautification and improvement of Market Street. She received awards and recognition from San Francisco’s Hotel Council, Mayor’s Office, and leadership awards from her previous hotels.

With her role as Director of Sales, she is responsible for direct event sales development for Silver Falls State Park, Angel Island State Park, Ranch at Little Hills, Lake Hemet, Lake Gregory, Lake Chabot, and other TCPC locations. Her departments’ focus is increasing sales revenue, encouraging companies to enjoy the great outdoors, and helping others appreciate the beauty in our parks.

Ms. Tan-Casem holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communications from De La Salle University in Manila. She is extremely passionate about encouraging women to be active in the community and to maximize their potential whether it be at work or with their own business. A loyal green archer since birth, she diligently instills the La Sallian values to her beautiful son, Liam.


<strong>Brandon Goodell</strong>

Joining the company as Director of Information Technology in 2016, Brandon Goodell brings nearly 20 years of IT, Hospitality and Leadership experience to the California Parks Company.
Brandon has the responsibility of ensuring secure and efficient IT related operations at all of our guest locations and for our supporting staff.  His team’s vision is to “improve our guest’s experience in the great outdoors through technology”.  Prior to The California Parks Company, Brandon was an IT Operations Manager for Chipotle Mexican Grill, leading a team of 10 technicians supporting the IT infrastructure of over 500 restaurants on the West Coast, Canada and Europe.  Brandon has held Leadership and Operations positions with Chevys Mexican Restaurants, Proctor and Gamble, L’Oréal, and Information Service & Technology INC,.  Additionally, he supervised large scale software and hardware rollouts for UBS Financial and Raley’s Supermarkets.

Brandon is a Northern California native, spending much of his free time volunteering for non-profit wildlife organizations and local law enforcement agencies.  He is an avid fisherman and outdoor enthusiast with a vast knowledge of California’s mountains, watershed and wildlife.

His career started in Operations with UPS before transitioning into Human Resources.  Kenny joins The California Parks Company with more than 20 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, and people operations.

His specialties include full-service human resources department management, conflict resolution, compensation and benefits analysis, training and development, diversity and inclusion, engagement, retention, and compliance.

His career led him to live in various parts of the country, but he moved back to the Bay area a decade ago where he grew up to be closer to his extended family. He lives with his family in Vacaville. When Kenny’s not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling the West Coast, and reading a good book, attending church or going to Indy Car races.

Joining the company on a full time basis in 2013, Ms. Koeberer’s background is in entertainment, lending her creative energy to television and film productions for HBO, Showtime, AMC and Direct TV. 
In her role as Art Director she oversees the artistic direction of the company, supervising graphic, photo and video content for all operations and assisting the marketing department in developing visually evocative campaigns. Ms. Koeberer is a member of the Art Directors Guild and is committed to the important role of design in cultivating  enthusiasm for life and in particular, interest in the outdoors.

Ms. Koeberer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology & Film from the University of California, Santa Barbara and has also studied Design & Communication Arts at University of California, Los Angeles.

<strong>John Poimiroo</strong>

… destination marketing. Among his assignments, he serves as game director to Capture California, an outdoor social media game conceived and conducted by TCPC.

Mr. Poimiroo began his career in travel and tourism marketing communications at Eldora Ski Area in Colorado, then continued in various marketing and PR positions at Squaw Valley USA, Marriott’s Great America, Hoefer-Amidei PR (San Francisco), Ketchum PR (San Francisco and Houston), Roaring Camp Railroads and the Yosemite Park and Curry Co.

His first assignment at Yosemite National Park was to coordinate press details for the visit of Queen Elizabeth II to The Ahwahnee hotel. He later conceived the long-running Yosemite Chefs’ Holidays and was a member of Yosemite teams that won two Take Pride in California and two Take Pride in America environmental awards. In 1992, John was appointed by California Governor Pete Wilson to serve as state tourism director. He was later made Deputy Secretary for Tourism of the California Trade and Commerce Agency.

John earned a B.A. degree in Public Relations from San José State University and an M.A. degree in Journalism from the University of Colorado, Boulder. He is a member of the Society of American Travel Writers, Bay Area Travel Writers, Outdoor Writers Association of California, California Park and Recreation Society and California Travel Industry Association. He helped found the California Roundtable on Recreation, Parks and Tourism, and serves, on the Lassen Park Foundation board. In 1996, he retired as a United States Navy Captain (O-6) after 30 years active and reserve service. John’s passions include racing sailboats and his family.
