Environmental Sustainability

Our Commitment to Preserving Our Planet

The California Parks Company prides itself in excellent guest services in the great outdoors. In doing so, we also strive to minimize our environmental impact on the public lands in which we operate. Clean lakes and healthy ecosystems are not only vital for our business, but they also hold inherent value as timeless pieces of living history, the resources of which sustain us and our communities. As a company that partners with local, state and federal agencies to celebrate our lakes, rivers, forests and deserts, it is our honor to care for America’s parks for all to enjoy. By meeting and exceeding environmental regulations set forth by our partner agencies, we lead by example and aim to foster a culture of environmental stewardship amongst our employees and guests. TCPC focuses on five (5) core areas which set the foundation for the company’s Environmental Responsibility Plan:

  1. Waste Management
  2. Water Conservation
  3. Watershed Health
  4. Sustainable Food Procurement
  5. Energy & Fossil Fuel Reduction

These 5 core areas impact every level of day-to-day operation for the California Parks Company. From land use to community welfare, TCPC respects its working relationship with the environment and its people.
